# Skygen.live licensing

Skygen.live uses a split licensing model.

## Original software code — AGPL-3.0

Unless a file says otherwise, original Skygen.live software code is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3.0 (AGPL-3.0).

This includes original HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and other software source written for Skygen.live.

## Original written content — CC BY-SA 4.0

Full legal code: LICENSE-CONTENT.txt

Preferred attribution: Skygen.live.

## Exclusions and third-party material

These licenses apply only to material for which Skygen.live has the right to grant those licenses.

They do not grant rights to Minecraft, Mojang, Microsoft, or other third-party materials. This includes, without limitation:

- Minecraft names, trademarks, logos, and branding;
- Mojang Bedrock sample files and data;
- Minecraft textures, particle artwork, audio, music, sound effects, and other game assets;
- previews or derivatives made from third-party game assets;
- the current Minecraft-derived Skygen.live favicon;
- third-party libraries, programs, or tools governed by their own licenses.

See THIRD_PARTY.md for details.

If a file contains its own license or attribution notice, that file-specific notice controls for that file. If material is identified as third-party, the third party's terms control for that material.

## No trademark license

The software and content licenses above do not grant permission to use the Skygen.live name or branding in a way that implies an official, endorsed, or affiliated service.

Skygen.live is not an official Minecraft service and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
